Concept builds
Built to the same standard as sites I deliver for real clients
Sample sites built to show how I turn a real business problem into a design that works. Not client projects: concepts that demonstrate range across different industries.
Almanac
Half the decision to eat somewhere is made before you walk in. Almanac leans into that: dark, cinematic, a menu that reads like it was printed. Booking a table takes a few taps, not a phone call that rings out at 7pm.
Swift Plumbing & Heating
Nobody shops around when their boiler's leaking; they call whoever looks like they'll actually turn up. This one's loud and quick, and the call button is never more than a thumb away.
Form Studio
Charge premium rates and you'd better look the part, or people walk. Form Studio keeps it quiet: restrained type, deep green, a bit of gold. The timetable and trainers sit up front, because the first visit is the one that's hard to get.
Millbrook Therapy
People landing here are usually anxious. Everything's pitched to settle them: plenty of space, soft sage, an easy way to send that first message without overthinking it. She writes the blog herself, which keeps the place ticking over between enquiries.
Meridian Works
An empty desk earns nothing. The spaces and prices go right at the top, and booking a tour ends up being the obvious next click.
Fernwood Garden Centre
Garden centres swing hard with the seasons, so the front-page banner changes with whatever's in flower and takes two minutes to swap. Warm and a bit earthy, it's the kind of place you wander round on a Saturday.
Saint & Wilder
A salon lives and dies by the diary. People book a haircut at 11pm on the sofa, so this one lets them grab a slot there and then, with a small card deposit holding the chair so it never sits empty. Editorial and confident, with the work out front.
Riverbank Dental
Most people picking a dentist are a bit anxious and shopping on trust. Everything here is pitched to settle them: a calm first impression, fees with no surprises, reviews up front, and an easy way to ask for an appointment without picking up the phone.
Wren & Vine
Half a florist's orders are someone in a hurry. This one takes the order in a couple of taps: a proper online shop, a card message, a delivery date, and same-day across the city. Warm and a bit gardeny, with weddings tucked off to one side.
